ΑΝΑΣΚΟΠΗΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΟΝΙΚΩΝ ΜΕΛΕΤΩΝ ΠΟΥ ΥΠΟΣΤΗΡΙΖΕΙ Η BIOHELLENIKA Α.Ε.
Η Biohellenika, η μοναδική Ελληνική εταιρεία διαπιστευμένη από την ΑΑΒΒ (American Association of Blood Banks), διαθέτει ένα πολύ ισχυρό τμήμα Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης. Ικανοί επιστήμονες καταβάλουν μια πολύ αξιόλογη προσπάθεια, προκειμένου να βελτιώσουν τα υπάρχοντα πρωτόκολλα ή να φέρουν νέα προϊόντα στην αγορά. Έντεκα επιστημονικές εργασίες έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε διακεκριμένα διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά, πέντε διπλώματα ευρεσιτεχνίας έχουν χορηγηθεί και τέσσερις κλινικές δοκιμές υποστηρίζονται από αυτό το Τμήμα. Επίσης, πολλά βραβεία έχουν απονεμηθεί στη Biohellenika για το πρωτοποριακό έργο που έχει προσφέρει αυτό το Τμήμα. Ακόμα, τρεις διδακτορικές διατριβές υποστηρίχθηκαν από τη Biohellenika, ενώ ακόμη πέντε βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη.
ΒΡΑΒΕΙΑ
- To 1o Βραβείο απονεμήθηκε τον Απρίλιο 2007 από την Ιατρική Εταιρεία Θεσσαλονίκης κατά τη διάρκεια του 22ου Βορειοελλαδικού Ιατρικού Συνεδρίου, σχετικά με την in vitro διαφοροποίηση προγονικών βλαστοκυττάρων από το μυελό των οστών σε κύτταρα του μυοκαρδίου για τη μελλοντική χρήση τους σε ασθενείς με έμφραγμα του μυοκαρδίου.
- Το 2o Βραβείο απονεμήθηκε το Μάιο 2007 από την Ιατρική Εταιρεία Αθηνών κατά τη διάρκεια του 33ου Πανελλήνιου Ιατρικού Συνεδρίου για την εξειδικευμένη μέθοδος της Biohellenika για την απομόνωση πολυδύναμων βλαστοκυττάρων με την αποστράγγιση του πλακούντα.
- Το 3o Βραβείο απονεμήθηκε το Δεκέμβριου 2007 από την Πανελλήνια Εταιρεία Μεταμοσχεύσεων κατά τη διάρκεια του15ου Πανελλήνιου Συνεδρίου για την έρευνα της Biohellenika για την απομόνωση επιπλέον αριθμού αιμοποιητικών βλαστοκυττάρων μετά την αποστράγγιση του πλακούντα. Ένας επαρκής αριθμός βλαστοκυττάρων συλλέγετε για τη θεραπεία ενήλικων ασθενών και ιδιαίτερα εκείνων με μεγάλο σωματικό βάρος.
- Το 1o Βραβείο από το Ίδρυμα Κεραμέως το Νοέμβριο 2010 από την Καρδιαγγειακή Εταιρεία στο πλαίσιο του 8ου Συνεδρίου Καρδιαγγειακής Χειρουργικής για τη συνδυασμένη υποστήριξη της αριστερής κοιλίας με βλαστικά κύτταρα του μυελού των οστών και μηχανική υποστήριξη.
- Βραβείο το Μάρτιο 2011 στο πλαίσιο του 26ου Βορειοελλαδικού Ιατρικού Συνεδρίου για την in vitro διαφοροποίηση των πολυδύναμων βλαστικών κυττάρων του ομφαλίου λώρου σε νευρικά κύτταρα.
- Στη Biohellenika απονεμήθηκε βραβείο στα πλαίσια του 27ου Βορειοελλαδικού Ιατρικού Συνεδρίου στη Θεσσαλονίκη το 2012 για τη “Μέθοδο διαχωρισμού πολυδύναμων βλαστοκυττάρων και τον χαρακτηρισμό τους από το αίμα του ομφαλίου λώρου, τον πλακούντα, τον ομφάλιο λώρο και το λιπώδη ιστό”.
